I have gone through the set up at least 5 times now and as the router is only 2 feet away i can't see how it can not receive a signal. All the profile and details are correct as is the network key password Although my experience its limited where networking is concerned im not that bad at understanding as long as it does not get to complicated. Having a network cable and wireless both running can confuse windows disable the cable the other thing is wireless can often connect via Windows until or makers they may use different ways so the utility may not show if Windows is in control New 27 Dec 2016 3 Thank you very much. I used to run on windows 10 so no issue to install the driver. But I got fed up of win10 as quite slow on my laptop. So i have decided to install linux mint with cinnamon desktop in dual boot just in case something went wrong with linux.
